Hendra Tanjaya was banned for life from playing badminton by the BWF because of match fixing. He is known to have played in the doubles category before receiving punishment from the BWF.
Then, Hendra competed in men’s doubles and mixed doubles. Match Fixing carried out by Hendra was no less than a total of 10 matches. He made a profit from match fixing.
3. Ivandi Danang
Finally, there is Ivandi Danang who was banned for life by the BWF from playing badminton because he was suspected of aiding and abetting match fixing in two badminton matches.
He was accused of funding Hendra Tanjaya’s match fixing in 2021. Not only that, Ivandi also placed bets on matches played by Hendra.
